![]() Scripts/macros can make up for lack of these being baked into the interface, I just got used to these in UltraEdit QOL editing tools like empty and whitespace-only line deletion, trailing space trimming, sorting, case transformation, etc.XML outlining: I can live without it, but it is one thing UltraEdit does well that I miss in other tools.Ability to run scripts with an active community sharing and discussing scripts.I recently bought a Macbook Pro 13" with the M1 chip for personal use and since UltraEdit doesn't have a native ARM version yet (and I worry about performance running it through Rosetta), I thought that this would be a good opportunity to try a new text editor that is optimized for Mac use. I've also use Notepad++ because it is ubiquitous. ![]() ![]() I have been using UltraEdit for almost 20 years and have a lifetime license upgrade.
